Arthur WarehamArthur Wareham, an architect, came to cure in January 1944 after he contracted TB while working in South America. He tried to enlist in the U.S. Army but was rejected after he was diagnosed with TB. He became involved in several community projects, including designing the current Trudeau Institute building, and eventually settled in the area.
