Patrick MurphyPatrick Murphy was the son of Sara and Gerald Murphy, who were friends of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Patrick spent May 1935 to January 30, 1937 in Saranac Lake trying to cure his tuberculosis. During his time here, he and his family stayed at Steel Camp on Lower Saranac Lake, Howell Cottage, Lower St. Regis Lake, and Rumsey Cottage, among others.
