William MorrisBorn Zelman Moses, Morris emigrated with his family from Germany to the U.S. in 1882. He was a theatrical agent who founded the William Morris Agency; he represented Charlie Chaplin, Will Rogers, Eddie Cantor, and Al Jolson. In 1928 he built Camp Intermission, a Great Camp designed by William Distin on Lake Colby.
