Carl Sofus LumholtzCarl Sofus Lumholtz was a Norwegian discoverer and ethnographer known for his field research and publications on the indigenous cultures of Australia and central Mexico. Lumholtz spent the last few months of his life at Williams Cottage in an unsuccessful attempt to cure his TB; his grave can be found in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
